# Layouts

Turbine-placement algorithms and the fitter strategies that size them to a
boundary.

`oowl.sampling.Choice` picks one layout for the whole farm. `Mixture` instead
lays several layouts out in weighted cells of one farm, each in its own cell
with crisp seams between them.

`PoissonDisc`, `Sobol` and `Uniform` are the unstructured layouts, and they
differ in what they impose on the scatter. `PoissonDisc` enforces a minimum
separation, so it is blue noise and markedly regular. `Sobol` is
low-discrepancy, so it covers more evenly than chance. `Uniform` imposes
nothing, so it is complete spatial randomness and pairs may fall arbitrarily
close. It is unrelated to the wind direction model `oowl.resources.UniformDirection`.
